शोध करना दिलचस्पी

Adult stem cells; biology of germ cells; plant-parasitic nematodes Our laboratory investigates mechanisms that control mitosis-meiosis decision in the free-living nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. Using this system as a paradigm, our ultimate goal is to understand how self-renewal and differentiation decisions are controlled in adult stem cells. We also pursue an RNAi approach to understand the biology of plant-parasitic nematodes to ultimately develop novel pest control strategies.
